Unit Manager RN

Location: Murfreesboro, TN

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Manager RN to join our healthcare team. The Unit Manager RN will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of a nursing unit or department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a nursing unit or department, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and individualized patient care.
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, taking appropriate action for any changes or deterioration in health.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, assisting with complex cases and addressing any challenges or concerns.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback to enhance staff performance and development.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare departments to facilitate interdisciplinary communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of advances in nursing practice and leadership.

Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards of practice in healthcare.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
